SASSA Will Transfer the R370 Funds Between 17 and 23 December 2024
SASSA has confirmed that SRD R370 grant payments for December 2024 will be processed between 17 and 23 December 2024. Payments will be deposited directly into beneficiaries’ registered bank accounts or made available through approved cash collection partners.
Applicants who have selected cash collection as their payment method may collect their funds at participating retailers such as Pick n Pay and Shoprite. Beneficiaries are advised to arrive early, as queues may be longer during peak payment periods.
When collecting cash payments, ensure that you carry a valid South African photo ID. Payments will not be released without proper identification.
Will SRD Appeal Applicants Also Receive the R370 Payment for December 2024?
Applicants who submitted an appeal for reconsideration must first confirm that their appeal has been approved. If the appeal is successful, payment will be processed during the same December 2024 payment window.
If an appeal has been declined, no payment will be issued for that period. In such cases, applicants may need to reapply or submit further appeals, depending on their eligibility.
